Hardware Options
Ethernet Modem - Choose this option if you would like us to supply you with a Modem that be used via an Ethernet bridge (Your computer will require an Ethernet Port). Includes 1 ADSL line filter. Only 1 Computer can be connected to this modem
Ethernet/USB Router - Choose this option if you would like us to supply you with a Ethernet Router ADSL Modem and 1 ADSL line filter. (Your computer will require an Ethernet Port). This Router can be connected by either Ethernet or USB. Multiple computers can be connected when combined with an Ethernet Hub/Switch
4 Port Ethernet Router - Choose this option if you would like us to supply you with a 4 Port Ethernet ADSL Router and 1 ADSL line filter. (Your computer will require an Ethernet Port). Multiple computers can be connected directly to the Router.
Wireless Router - Choose this option if you would like us to supply you with a Wireless Router ADSL Modem including 4 Ethernet ports and 1 ADSL line filter. (Your computer will require an Ethernet Port or a wireless adaptor)
Terms and Conditions
Effective 1st July 2007
- If "No Contract" is chosen an early termination fee applies if ADSL account is terminated (or churned away) within the contract period. This will be equivalent to the remaining contract period multiplied by the Starter plan fee for the service speed.
- ADSL connections subject to upstream provider approval. ADSL may not be available to all homes.
- For the 8000 plans Speeds are shown are theoretical network maximum speeds. Actual speeds may be less due to a number of factors including network configuration, line quality & length, exchange type, customer premises interference, traffic and equipment. About 70% of customers on the 8000 kbps service can access speeds around 6000 kbps or more.
- The monthly fee for providing the internet service and data will not exceed the capped value. Other charges may apply.
- If downloaded data exceeds the shaped threshold within the billing period, the transmission speed will be reduced (shaped) to 72Kbps in both directions. Transmission speed will remain at 72Kbps until the end of the billing period.
- An ADSL modem/router is required for the connection. This may be sourced from Jump Internet or other suppliers.
- Data allowance is calculated on greater of downloaded or uploaded data.
- Initial Jump Internet set up and configuration of your system for Internet Access is FREE at your premises ( Up to 1 hour ). If you wish to configure your system yourself we can provide you with the relevant information, subject to availability.
- Payment is by Cash, Cheque, Money Order, Direct Deposit, Visa, Mastercard. Advance payment conditions apply.
- Includes 5 megabytes of free personal web space provided.
